In a move to quell growing speculation and misinformation, the New Patriotic Party’s 2024 Election Review Committee has issued a clear statement regarding the status of its ongoing review process.
Contrary to recent reports, the committee has not yet produced a draft report, and any claims suggesting otherwise are categorically false.
The party noted that the committee is currently immersed in a comprehensive consultation process, actively engaging with party members and key stakeholders to gather valuable insights and recommendations.
The party election committee reaffirms its dedication to transparency and accountability.
“When the final report is completed, it will be a testament to the committee’s thoroughness, capturing and presenting all concerns to the National Council, which commissioned the review”.
The committee emphasizes that any document purportedly quoting from a draft report is entirely unfounded, as no such document exists.
In light of these developments, the committee urges party members and stakeholders to remain patient and trust the process. The review is a critical step towards understanding past performances and charting a successful path forward.
However, earlier this the week a post-election review commissioned by the Ashanti Regional Executive Committee on December 14, 2024, just a week after the election, has revealed a myriad of factors that culminated in the party’s poor performance, particularly in its stronghold, the Ashanti Region.
