German-born Ghanaian defender Aaron Manu has signed with German Regionalliga side TSV Steinbach Haiger.
The 24-year-old joins the club on a free transfer after ending his contract with 3.Liga side Rot-Weiß Essen.
TSV Steinbach Haiger announced the move, with Manu set to wear the number 4 jersey.
“Aaron Manu is moving from third division club Rot-Weiß Essen to TSV Steinbach Haiger,” the club stated on their website.
Manu, a former FC Nürnberg U19 player, expressed his enthusiasm for the new chapter.
“I’m really looking forward to the coming time here in Steinbach and would like to thank everyone involved for the great cooperation. I can’t wait to be on the pitch and give everything for success,” he said.
Manu also noted that the club’s ambitious goals align with his own, and he is eager to grow both athletically and personally.
Sporting director Giuseppe Lepore praised Manu’s defensive qualities, highlighting his tackling skills and aerial strength.
“Aaron will strengthen our defence and is a valuable addition with his personality and commitment,” Lepore added.
