Vincent Ekow Assafuah, the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo Constituency, has injected a substantial GHS150,000 into the Tafo Government Hospital.
This generous donation is set to transform healthcare delivery in the area, offering renewed hope to thousands of residents who rely on the hospital for critical medical services.
Taking to his official Facebook page, MP Assafuah shared his heartfelt motivation behind this impactful gesture.
“Today, I had the honour of making a special donation of GHS150,000 to the Tafo Government Hospital,” he announced.
“This is not just about money, it’s about hope, dignity, and our shared responsibility to ensure that every life matters,” he added.
With a deep understanding that hospitals are the backbone of any thriving community, Assafuah emphasized the importance of investing in local healthcare facilities.
He stressed “This gesture is a reflection of my unwavering commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the Old Tafo Constituency. Our hospitals are the lifeline of our communities, and investing in them means investing in the health and future of our people”.
The MP didn’t stop there. He took a moment to salute the tireless healthcare workers at Tafo Government Hospital, acknowledging their dedication and sacrifice.
“To the dedicated staff of Tafo Government Hospital, thank you for your selfless service,” he expressed.
And to his constituents, the legislator noted with pride, stating, “People of Old Tafo, this is just the beginning. Together, we will build a healthier and more resilient community.”
But the good news doesn’t end with healthcare. MP Vincent Assafuah also announced a timely boost for the young minds of Old Tafo.
On Monday, June 2, 2025, Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates will receive essential stationery supplies from his office, a practical gesture aimed at easing exam preparations and encouraging academic success.
“I wish all the candidates the very best of luck!” he added, underscoring his commitment to nurturing the next generation.
In attendance at the special donation were the former MCE for the constituency, Lord Inusah, the management and staff of the facility, and the good people of Old Tafo.
