After the celebration of Akwasidae in the United Kingdom (UK), the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II arrived home through the Sir Nana Agyeman Prempeh I International Airport.

The Asante monarch was welcomed home on Tuesday where he is expected to perform other traditional duties.

Dressed in blue Africa wear attire, Otumfuo was received by chiefs and queens in the region including the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah amidst cultural troops.


By traditional, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was chauffeured to the Manhyia Palace to meet the Asantehemaa, for tête-à-tête
