The Ghana Police Service, through its proactive media monitoring, has noted a publication alleging the training of some militia men at Kwahu in the Eastern Region, for the 2024 general elections.
We wish to state that our investigation has found no evidence of such training in the area.
The Police have commenced investigation to identify those behind the false publication to come and answer for their actions in line with the due process of the law.
We wish to caution the public against the publication and dissemination of fake news.
