Running Mate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) , Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has said politics is about self-interest and nothing more.
He made this revelation in an advise to Kwame Sefa Kayi, Host of Peace Kookrokoo to support his campaign.
“I was thinking you will follow me in this work, Kwame. Take some holidays and let’s go for campaign”
“Politics is all about self interest”, he told Sefa Kayi.
Speaking to Kwame Sefa Kayi on peace fm, he emphasized the personal benefits of political involvement, saying, “What’s in it for you is what you need.”
Dr. Prempeh’s comments have raised eyebrows, sparking debate on the nature of politics and political motivations.
