The National Communication Officer in charge of National Democratic Congress (NDC) political communication, Sammy Gyemfi, in a significant show of support for the party’s grassroots campaign has presented 18 motorbikes to the 18 Constituency Communication Officers in the Northern Region.
The presentation was made on behalf of the NDC’s flagbearer, H.E. John Dramani Mahama.
The donation, which took place in Tamale, is aimed at enhancing the mobility and operational efficiency of the CCOs as they work to secure a resounding victory for the NDC in the upcoming December 7 polls. With the election drawing closer, the party is intensifying efforts to strengthen its communication machinery, particularly at the constituency level.
Sammy Gyamfi expressed his gratitude to key figures who played a role in making the initiative possible.
He acknowledged the tireless efforts of the Northern Regional Chairman, Comrade Ali Adolf, the Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, and the Regional Communications Officer, Agitator.
He commended their dedication to ensuring that the party’s communication officers are well-equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
“It is my hope that these motorbikes will enhance the mobility and effectiveness of our hardworking CCOs as they work towards securing a decisive victory for the NDC in the December elections,” Gyamfi remarked during the presentation.
The gesture is seen as part of the NDC’s broader strategy to empower its grassroots campaign, ensuring that its message reaches every corner of the country. With improved logistics, the CCOs are expected to cover more ground, engaging voters and amplifying the NDC’s vision for the future.
The presentation of the motorbikes appears to be the party’s commitment to ensuring that communication officers are adequately resourced as they play a critical role in shaping public opinion and rallying support for the NDC in the Northern Region.
