SIC Insurance CEO James Agyenim Boateng calls for stronger collaboration with brokers to boost industry growth

The Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, Mr James Agyenim-Boateng, on Thursday said closer collaboration between insurance companies and brokerage firms will strengthen the capacity of Ghana’s insurance industry.


He said this during a courtesy call on the Managing Director of KEK Insurance Brokers, Mr Shaibu Ali, at the offices of the brokerage firm in Accra.


Mr Agyenim-Boateng commended Mr Shaibu Ali, who is also the President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG), for a successful brokers conference in Kwahu recently.


The Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC said he is determined to network with brokers and insurance executives to build relationships that yield meaningful results for the insurance industry.


“I know businesses like insurance thrive on having a reliable pool of like-minded friends and I am determined to court industry players for the benefit of SIC”, he said.
to create a good working relationship for the growth of the industry.


Mr Agyenim-Boateng pledged his commitment to collaborate and work with KEK Insurance Brokers other brokers to prospect for business and grow their respective companies. He said there is new dawn at SIC Insurance PLC and urged all to come on board.


For his part, the MD of KEK Insurance Brokers, Mr Shaibu Ali commended Mr Agyenim-Boateng for the visit and pledge to collaborate with SIC Insurance PLC for business prospecting and product development, among others.


In a related development, Mr Agyenim-Boateng also visited the offices of ArrowClass Insurance Brokers Limited to urge close collaboration with the company.


The Managing Director of ArrowClass Insurance Brokers Limited, Mr Mathias Dapilah recognised the long-standing relationship that exists between his company and SIC Insurance PLC and promised to continue working together.
