Prof. Jane Nana Opoku Agyemang, Running Mate to the NDC Presidential candidate has challenged Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh to produce evidence to back his claim that NDC created curriculum that included LGBTQ+ .
Speaking to New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in Bantama over the weekend at the climax of the party’s ‘Bantama Big Walk 2024’ event, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, accused certain Islamic Imams and Christian pastors of promoting LGBTQ+ advocacy in schools under the previous NDC administration.
“In the handing-over notes from the former Education Minister, I noticed that they had introduced a new curriculum to replace the old one, and part of it was to teach school children how to engage in same-gender sexual activities. The person who led this project was Okudzeto Ablakwa,” NAPO alleged.
To his surprise, NAPO claimed that the NDC used Islamic preachers and pastors to travel from community to community, promoting the LGBTQ+ agenda with the support of teachers.
He further alleged, “This group taught school children how people of the same sex should kiss each other, how a man should kiss another man, and how a woman should kiss another woman. They even went as far as teaching how a mother can engage in sexual activities with her daughter. These things happened right here in Ghana,” NAPO stated.
In her response about the claim when asked on Radio 1 FM in Bunso, Eastern Region, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang said NAPO needs prayers.
“Eii is that what NAPO has been saying why has it taken him that long to make this disclosure in fact we all needs prayers. This information was discovered by him so he should give documental prove. That this is the curriculum the NDC design to promote LGBTQ+ since he is the one alleging’’ She challenged NAPO
