BEIJING- Ghana’s Ambassador to China, His Excellency Kojo Bonsu, has reiterated the West African nation’s strong commitment to deepening its strategic partnership with the People’s Republic of China.
This followed a high-level meeting with Mr. Wang Yong, Director General of the International Cooperation Department at China’s Ministry of Public Security, held in Beijing.
Ambassador Bonsu expressed the Ghanaian government’s gratitude for China’s sustained support in advancing Ghana’s socio-economic development.
He underscored Ghana’s eagerness to expand cooperation into emerging areas of mutual interest, particularly in security and public safety.
Discussions focused on enhancing institutional capacity-building within Ghana’s security and law enforcement agencies. Both parties explored avenues to facilitate training and technical exchanges in key fields, including policing, cybersecurity, and crime prevention.
