A young man believed to be in his 20s has been apprehended in Tamale following an alleged intimate encounter with a married nursing student at her matrimonial home, sources have confirmed.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday afternoon at a residence along the Tamale–Nyankpala Road while the woman’s husband was away.
According to eyewitness accounts, the married nursing student allegedly invited the man—said to be her classmate—into the home during her husband’s absence.
The situation took a dramatic turn when the husband returned unexpectedly and discovered the pair.

The woman reportedly managed to flee the scene, while the man was apprehended by community members.
He was subjected to severe beatings and subsequently taken to the Gbewaa Palace, the seat of the Overlord of Dagbon, where the matter was reported to traditional authorities for resolution in accordance with customary practices.
The disappointed husband has demanded compensation amounting to ₵60,000 from the accused man, citing damage to his marriage and family dignity.

Traditional leaders are expected to mediate the case and determine the appropriate course of action.
Neither the accused man nor the woman involved has publicly commented on the allegations. Efforts to reach the husband for further clarification were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.
