The National U-15 Boys team will face Korea Republic in the Round of 32 of the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan.

The crucial knockout clash is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Ghana heads into the Round of 32 with a perfect record after dominating Group W with five wins from five matches:

  • Ghana 4-1 Uzbekistan
  • Ghana 7-1 Myanmar
  • Ghana 7-0 Guam
  • Ghana 7-0 Bahamas
  • Ghana 2-1 Kazakhstan

The young lads scored 27 goals and conceded just 3 in the group phase, finishing top of Group W with some of the most impressive attacking football at the tournament. Forwards Abdul Aziz Issah, Jerry Owusu, Angel Junior Adjei, Shamsudeen Sulemana and Emmanuel Afful have all been in fine scoring form.

Korea Republic, known for their disciplined and technical approach, will provide a stern test for Ghana in the knockout phase. The Asians qualified from a tough group and will be looking to halt Ghana’s free-scoring run.

Ghana, however, will be full of confidence after their flawless group stage and will aim to continue their impressive run at the FIFA Talent Development Scheme tournament.
