Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Chief Executive Officer Malik Basintale has intensified efforts to improve the implementation of youth employment programmes, engaging staff of the Upper East Regional Office in Bolgatanga on performance, discipline and operational efficiency.
The engagement formed part of an ongoing regional tour aimed at reviewing the Agency’s operations and strengthening coordination between its head office and regional teams.
Mr Basintale commended staff for their dedication and contributions to the Agency’s achievements throughout the year, urging them to sustain their commitment to creating employment opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
His Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Operations, Abubakari Saana Abdul-Kudus, stressed the need for discipline, punctuality, professionalism and accountability in the discharge of official duties.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for management to assess operational activities, engage directly with staff and reinforce expectations for effective programme delivery.

The regional tour forms part of YEA’s efforts to improve internal collaboration and ensure its employment interventions are implemented effectively across the country.
However, management did not disclose specific performance targets, new employment opportunities or additional programmes arising from the Upper East engagement.
