Alan as number 13 on the ballot and the relevance of item 13 to the KNUST ,Legon and UCC students in the late 90s and early 2000s

Let me say happy Sunday to all the beautiful people of this country,Ghana especially to all the positive souls that have decided to entrust the destinies of this country into the hands of the Hon Alan Kyerematen and his running mate Kwame Owusu Danso Esq. Times are hard but in less than 80 days, relief will be on sight.

This morning I come to you with some fond memories of the number 13 as someone who was enrolled at the Knust in the 1999/2000 academic year.

In our days at knust, the number 13 brought joy to the souls of everyone on campus.Every announcement that was made with a microphone for any program on campus, the announcer will end by saying “Item 13 is assured”.

Now what was the meaning of Item 13 to these Knust,Legon and UCC students in the late 90’s and early 2000s? Item 13 was simply serving of refreshments or chops or food as part of the program.

It will interest readers to note that most of the churches that you see today grown exponentially, adopted heavily Item 13 on campuses to woe more people to Christ.

The term “Item 13”became so popular that one could not organise a successful program on any campus without providing it.

Ghana currently is at a crossroad and needs someone who will be able to provide this Item 13 which is basically food to its citizens. We have tried the two political parties ie the Npp and the Ndc for the last 32 years by the 7th of January,2025.The citizens as we speak lacks Item 13 to assure their survival. The country heads into the polls in December and needs that individual who could assure the Item 13.

There are interestingly 13 individuals who are contesting to become President of the country in 2025.The Electoral Commission conducted a balloting of positions for this individuals and interestingly,Mr.Alan Kyerematen chose the 13th position.

Mr.Alan Kyerematen since 2006 has been preaching the message of “Jobs for the people,Cash for the People”.This is what precisely Item 13 does. One cannot have cash without having a job and in the same vein no individual can provide for food which is Item 13 without having cash.

The Ghanaian voter is therefore being reminded that the position of Alan on the ballot paper for election 2024 signifies Jobs,Cash and Food to every Ghanaian. In fact his position simply means “Obiaa be didi” to wit everyone will eat.

We can only therefore trust in Item 13 which is the last person on the ballot. The last person on the ballot also goes to confirm what Apostle Mathew said in the holy book when he said “So the last will be first and the first will be last”,Mathew 20:16.

We can only expect Item 13 in 2025 and beyond with Alan in the helm of affairs through his Great Transformational Plan which focuses on New Agricultural Revolution. It is only through Agricultural Revolution that Food and by extension Item 13 is assured.

Together we will win and
Ghana shall again.
