The Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen’s Caucus of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has congratulated the newly elected national executives of the party, led by National Chairman John Boadu.
In a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the caucus, Kofi Acheampong and Frederick Agyemang Mensah respectively, the constituency chairmen described the election of the new executives as a positive development for the party and pledged their support to the new leadership.
The new executives were elected at the NPP’s national conference held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on October 3, 2026.
The caucus extended particular congratulations to Mr. Boadu and the newly elected national leadership, including Vice Chairmen Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, Henry Nana Boakye and Nana Akomea.
Others are General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua; National Treasurer Alfred Kojo Thompson; National Organiser Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover; National Women’s Organiser Mavis Hawa Koomson; National Youth Organiser Abanga Fuseini Yakubu; National Nasara Organiser Mohammed Ali Suraj; and National Communications Director Dennis Edward Miracle Aboagye.
The Ashanti constituency chairmen said the region played a significant role in the conference by delivering more than 7,000 delegates and hosting what they described as a peaceful, transparent and credible exercise.
They expressed confidence in the new leadership, citing the experience of Mr. Boadu and Mr. Kodua, popularly known as JFK, as assets that could help strengthen the party.
“We in Ashanti pledge to work hand-in-hand with the national leadership to reorganise, unite, and energize our base for 2028,” the statement said.
The caucus further called for unity within the party, stressing that the outcome of the election should not create divisions among members.
“There are no winners or losers, there is only one NPP,” the statement added.
The Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen’s Caucus said it was ready to play a central role in rebuilding the party at the grassroots level ahead of the 2028 general elections.
“As Ashanti Chairmen, we will be the engine room for the party’s comeback,” the caucus declared.
