Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has officially assumed her new role as a Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Interior.
Her appointment was met with a warm reception from the Minister of Interior, Alhaji Muntaka Mohammed, who expressed confidence in her ability to contribute meaningfully to the Ministry’s objectives.
During a meeting to welcome COP Addo-Danquah, the interior Minister underscored the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the Ministry’s overarching goals.

He emphasized that fostering a positive working relationship among stakeholders is essential for addressing key challenges within the sector. The Minister also conveyed his eagerness to work closely with COP Addo-Danquah in advancing the Ministry’s agenda.
In response, COP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and pledged her full commitment to supporting the Ministry’s mandate, as well as President John Mahama’s Reset Agenda.

She reaffirmed her dedication to leveraging her extensive experience in law enforcement to drive meaningful progress in security and governance.
Her appointment as a Technical Advisor is expected to bring strategic insights and expertise to the Ministry, enhancing efforts to strengthen internal security and law enforcement in Ghana.
