President Akufo-Addo addressed On Thursday, August 1, 2024, rumours surrounding a document which is believed to be a master plan of the Akyem faction within
the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
This comes after portions of the Agyapadie document started circulating in both traditional and social media space with just four months to the general elections.
The 38-page document, which has no identified author, prominently features the Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin on the cover photo, followed by President Nana Akufo-Addo and his late father on the subsequent page.
It is believed to contain strategies on how a particular ‘family’ or ‘clan’ will establish total dominance and ensure the running of the country by taking control of the various sectors including economy, politics, media, judiciary, telecommunication and banking.
With some identified events reportedly happening in the Ghanaian political space as predicted in the document which first surfaced over 8-years ago, attention has been drawn to its content again.
However, the governing NPP continues to discredit it, accusing their political opponents of being the masterminds behind the document.
Already, the Osagyefuo Amoatia Opfori Panin has credited the book as fiction and fabricated by those determined for years to create and fan a hate campaign against the Ofori Panin household and Okyeman.
