As the world prepares for the sacred journey of Hajj in 2025, Ghana’s Hajj Taskforce has sounded the final call for prospective pilgrims and agents, setting March 13, 2025, as the absolute deadline for completing all payments.
This decisive move is part of a broader strategy to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated pilgrimage experience, aligning with directives from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs.
No Room for Delays
In a statement signed by Collins Dauda, Chairman of Hajj Task Force made it clear that no extensions will be granted beyond this date, emphasizing the importance of adhering to this timeline. Both pilgrims and agents are urged to expedite their payments and complete all necessary preparatory procedures within the stipulated timeframe.
This strict adherence is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the pilgrimage process.
In a bid to facilitate a smoother journey for Ghanaian pilgrims, the Taskforce has introduced measures to assist fully paid pilgrims in acquiring their passports with ease.

By doing so, the Taskforce aims to reduce logistical hurdles and ensure that pilgrims can focus on their spiritual journey.
In a significant move to make the pilgrimage more accessible, the Taskforce recently announced a substantial reduction in the 2025 Hajj package fee.
“Recently, the Taskforce announced a significant reduction in the 2025 Hajj package fee, lowering it from GH₵75,000 to GH₵62,000”.
This decision reflects the Taskforce’s commitment to making the sacred journey more affordable for Ghanaian Muslims.
The Ghana Hajj Taskforce noted that it remains dedicated to providing world-class services, ensuring that all Ghanaian pilgrims enjoy a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling experience.
