President John Dramani Mahama has nominated the first batch of Regional Ministers, submitting their names to Parliament for approval.
Among the nominees is Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who has been chosen to serve as the Regional Minister.
Who is Dr. Frank Amoakohene?
Dr. Amoakohene is a medical professional and youth leader with a strong background in healthcare, governance, and public service ¹. His impressive educational credentials include a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ghana, a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science degree from the University of Development Studies, and an MBA from the Accra Business School.
As the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NDC, Dr. Amoakohene has demonstrated his leadership skills and commitment to public service. His nomination as Regional Minister is seen as a strategic move to bring about positive change in the region.
