Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency and New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has issued a stern warning to fellow NPP aspirants and their supporters, vowing to respond firmly to any attacks against him.
In an interview with Accra-based Asaasepa Radio, Dr. Adutwum emphasized that his campaign would remain respectful and focused but pledged to defend himself vigorously if provoked.
“My campaign will be clean, but if you attack me, I’ll respond,” he stated.
When the host pressed him further on his approach to potential attacks, Dr. Adutwum responded emphatically, “If you attack me, I’ll respond. I stand on my own ground. I won’t let untrue accusations go unchallenged.
“I will respond to correct the record for Ghanaians. However, I won’t engage in personal attacks or say anything against anyone unless I am directly wronged,” Dr. Adutwum noted.
Asked whether his responses would remain professional, Dr. Adutwum was quick to affirm, “Of course. I do not insult. I believe that for my party to be good, the opposition doesn’t have to be bad. The NDC can be good, but I will always assert that the NPP is better. I carry myself with decorum and respect, values I was raised with.”
