The Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has accused the Professor Jana Naana Opoku Agyemang for authoring the Agyapadie controversial document that has dominated media discussed for some time now.
NPP’s Political actors and Kyebi traditional leaders accused of implementing the document content as project including President Nana Akufo Addo have all denied knowledge of the booklet describing it as figment of some one’s imagination pointing accusing fingers at the opposition.
Responding to the content in the book, Chairman Wontumi attacked Professor Jane Naana as the main author allegedly behind the booklet content to tarnish the reputation of President Nana Akufo Addo the Kyebi royal family for their political interest.
Speaking on Abusua FM in Kumasi, he told Kojo Marfo that “ I want to tell you today that the Agyapadie book in circulation was written by the wicked old woman professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang the running mate of former President John Dramani Mahama that’s why he couldn’t append she signature on the book were we are all aware of that. Look at her own book and the things President Mahama has been saying’’ he alleged without justification.
He added” during the administration of former President John Agyekum Kuffour the NDC did similar things to him so we were not surprised at the content of the booklet. This woman has no sympathy for her fellow human. It is criminal for a former president to talk about a book whose author is unknown and doesn’t exist. Because the author is afraid he will be dragged to court’’.
The Agyapadie book was written by the NDC. That’s their manifesto “ I want to assure you that the fake book will not make any impact on the NPP in this election. We will retire Mahama and Professor Jane Naana from politics, you mark mu words’’ he said.
