The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale south constituency in the Northern region has said the NDC’s target of securing at least 35% votes in the Ashanti region is a realistic target.
Addressing the party supporters in the Asawase Constituency during the party’s constituency campaign launch he described the present NPP government as the worst of all administrations in the fourth republic .
He said ”I’m confident that the Asanteman will support the NDC to win this election. As for the NPP, they are the worst government in the fourth republic. They say we should praise them for going to the IMF, we should praise them for the debt exchange program, we should praise them because they are affecting lives. Asanteman will only stand with them if they are doing well. Me se ne3 ma nko yie wo Ghana enti omo be ko opposition’’ Haruna mocked the NPP.
He assured the party’s grace root supporters that when NDC is elected into office they will secure their recruitment into the security service in the NPP way much better.
“you are all aware of how the NPP are recruiting their members into the security service, I want to assure you that we will use the same formula to recruit you when we are elected. We will do it professionally with qualification’’ he assured.
However, urge the party youth to be vigilant in policing their ballot on 7th December 2024 to check the NPP’s rigging agenda in Ashanti region.
“ The winning of election 2024 is nonnegotiable. All local and international polls have predicted victory for the NDC. All we need to do is to work hard to protect the votes Ghanaians will give us’’ he pleaded.
