President John Dramani Mahama has appointed five-term Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region as deputy minister designate for the Ministry of Lands and natural Resource.
the appointment was announced in a statement signed by a Special Aide to the President, Felix Ofosu Kwakye .
According to him, the appointments aimed at bolstering governance and enhancing operational efficiency.

Hon. Buah holds an impressive academic portfolio, including a Master of Science degree in Management from the University of Maryland, USA, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science with a major in Law from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, UK. His expertise spans public administration, energy policy, and project management.
Contributions to Ghana’s Energy Sector
Between 2009 and 2012, Hon. Buah served as Deputy Minister of Energy, playing a critical role in the establishment of the Ghana National Gas Company through his work on the Ghana Gas Task Force.
