The race for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Organiser position has been narrowed following the withdrawal of the party’s National Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha.
The decision was announced by the Chairman of the NPP Elections Committee, Frederick Opare Ansah, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, ahead of balloting for the position.
Mr. Mustapha had been among the contenders seeking to become the party’s next National Organiser, a key position in the NPP’s national executive structure.
His withdrawal leaves the remaining aspirants, including former Greater Accra Regional Minister Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, to battle for the position at the party’s national executive elections scheduled for October 3, 2026.
Mr. Mustapha’s decision marks a significant development in the contest, given his position as the incumbent National Youth Organiser and his involvement in the party’s grassroots mobilization activities.
