Tokyo 2025: Ghana finish fourth in Men’s 4x100m relay final

Ghana delivered an impressive performance at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, finishing fourth in the men’s 4x100m relay final.

The Ghanaian team clocked 37.93 seconds, showcasing their speed and teamwork on the global stage. Despite narrowly missing out on a medal, Ghana’s performance was a notable highlight of the competition.

The final saw a thrilling race, with the United States dominating to claim the gold medal. The USA team finished with a time of 37.29 seconds, securing their top position convincingly.

Canada finished strong behind them, taking silver with a time of 37.55 seconds. The Netherlands also made a strong showing, winning bronze by completing the race in 37.81 seconds.

Ghana’s fourth-place finish came just behind these medal-winning teams, less than a second behind the Americans.

Their time of 37.93 seconds reflected the progress and growing competitiveness of the Ghanaian sprint relay team on the international athletics scene.

This result adds to Ghana’s reputation for producing world-class sprinters.

The Tokyo World Athletics Championships highlighted fierce competition and exceptional athletic ability from countries around the world. Ghana’s relay team showed resilience and determination to compete closely with some of the top sprinting nations.
