Minority Chief Whip Kwame Agbodza has expressed outrage over NPP’s Frank Annoh Dompreh entering Parliament ahead of the official opening time.
Agbodza questioned, “Why is Annoh Dompreh already sitting there? We were told the room opens at 8 o’clock; he’s already in place.”
Footage shows Dompreh occupying a front-row seat before the stipulated time, raising concerns about potential tensions.
In a related press release, the Parliamentary Service outlined security measures for today’s session, stating that access would begin at 8:00 AM, with the Ghana Police directing traffic to designated drop-off zones.
The NDC caucus had previously alleged that military forces would be deployed in the chamber, a claim the NPP dismissed as unfounded.
However, reports confirm military presence in Parliament today.
