Parliament has given its approval to the nominations of Ahmed Ibrahim, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare to head three key ministries in the government.
Ahmed Ibrahim has been confirmed as the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.
With his extensive experience in governance and local administration, he is expected to oversee policies aimed at strengthening local governance structures, fostering chieftaincy collaboration, and addressing religious matters across the country.
Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey as the Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
Her mandate will focus on promoting gender equality, safeguarding the welfare of children, and expanding social protection programs to cater to vulnerable groups.
Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare has been confirmed as the Minister for Trade, Industry, and Agribusiness.

The approval of the nominees followed a thorough vetting process conducted by the Appointments Committee of Parliament. The committee endorsed the nominees after reviewing their qualifications, vision for their respective ministries, and responses to questions posed during the hearings.
