Kumasi-based Pure FM resumes full operations on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 after fire disaster

Pure FM, in Kumasi, will fully return to air on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, after a fire disrupted its broadcast on the night of Wednesday, July 23.

Pure FM, a popular radio station based in Kumasi, will resume full operations on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, following a fire outbreak that disrupted broadcasting on Wednesday, July 23 night.

The unfortunate fire which source remains unknown compels management to suspend all on-air program while entertaining its listeners will exiting music.

The station has since constructed a temporary studio to restore its on-air presence while reconstruction work continues on the two studios that were destroyed by the fire.

Speaking to Kumasi Mail, the Business Manager of Pure FM, Kwame Adinkra, expressed excitement about the station’s return.

“We can’t wait to be back on air on Tuesday. I know our numerous listeners have missed our programs and their favorite voices. Thank you for your patience— we’re coming back with renewed energy to bring you all your favorite shows across our network.”

Pure FM is part of the numerous radio station under the ownership of Angel Broadcasting Network doted across the country’s media space.
