Samuel Ohene Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja De Lighter, has disclosed that during the 2024 parliamentary elections, he played a significant role in helping 34 candidates secure their seats out of the 276 members of parliament elected.
However, he revealed that only three of those beneficiaries have reached out to express their gratitude.
In an exclusive interview on GhanaAkoma with Sir John on Akoma FM monitored by Kumasimail, Prophet Roja was asked about pastors who claim to have facilitated political power or positions for individuals but are later ignored.
Responding to this, he acknowledged that several politicians he supported during the election have not shown appreciation publicly or privately, yet he has chosen to keep this experience to himself.
Prophet Roja stated, “In the 2024 election, I brought 34 people from neutral grounds to become MPs. After the election, only three have come to me.
“But I will never voice it out, I won’t go on social media, and I will not mention anyone’s name. Everyone knows how they call on their God. If you pray for someone and things go well don’t expect anything in return. If the person remembers you, praise the Lord; if the person doesn’t, still praise the Lord,” he added.
