The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has issued a strong challenge to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to account for their achievements since taking office.
Chairman Wontumi questioned the government’s record, asserting that the NDC has failed to deliver on its promises to Ghanaians.
According to him, the government has not been able to accomplish anything substantial during its tenure.
“NDC should tell us what they have done because nothing significant has been achieved,” Wontumi remarked while interacting with some NPP delegates.
He further addressed criticisms aimed at Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, noting that insults and disparaging remarks have been directed not only at Bawumia but also at former President John Kufuor and President Nana Akufo-Addo.
He dismissed such attacks, stating, “Regarding Bawumia, whatever they wanted to say about him, they have said it. The insults, the disgrace they used same against Kufuor, Akufo-Addo. So Bawumia, as I always say, ‘Whom Am I?’ to wit, who is he?”
