Residents of Agric-Nwamase in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region took to the streets on Thursday to protest the government’s failure to address critical infrastructure needs, particularly the poor road conditions in the area.
The angry residents blocked major roads leading to the community, expressing frustration over what they describe as long-standing neglect by authorities. In addition to bad roads, they voiced concerns about deteriorating education and health facilities, issues they claim have been ignored despite repeated appeals.
The protesters issued a stern warning, threatening to disrupt the upcoming December 7 elections if their demands are not met before voting day. They are calling on authorities to take immediate action to fix the roads and improve essential services.
