Three MTN Ghana customers have each won a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado after accumulating points through their regular use of the network’s voice, data and Mobile Money services.
The winners, Faustina Asante, Mahama Wasila and Alidu Tanko, received the keys to their vehicles at a prize presentation at Kejetia in Kumasi on September 16, 2026, as part of MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
The three winners emerged from MTN Ghana’s three-month MTN@30 reward promotion, which allows customers to earn points automatically from their everyday transactions.

Customers did not need to register or dial a special short code to participate. Calls, data usage and Mobile Money transactions earned points, with the accumulated points serving as entries for the various prizes.
The Kejetia presentation was the second of three prize events planned under the promotion. The first was held in Accra, while the final presentation is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
In all, MTN Ghana plans to reward up to 30,000 customers, with prizes ranging from cash of up to GH¢30,000 to nine Toyota Land Cruiser Prados.
Three Prados are being presented at each of the three events.
Speaking at the presentation, Sandra Oduro Antwi, Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing at MTN Ghana, said the promotion was intended to recognise customers who have supported the company over its 30-year presence in Ghana.

“This milestone belongs not to MTN alone, but to the more than 32 million Ghanaians who have made MTN part of their lives,” she said.
Samuel Arthur, Senior Specialist, Mass Segment at MTN Ghana, said the reward programme formed part of the company’s appreciation for the support it had received from customers since entering the Ghanaian market.
He said KPMG, an independent auditing firm, reviews and verifies the promotion data at every stage of the process to ensure the integrity of the draw and selection of winners.
For Mahama Wasila, a farmer from the Northern Region, the prize came as an unexpected reward for her routine use of MTN services.

She said she had simply been buying airtime and data and conducting Mobile Money transactions without imagining that those activities could eventually lead to winning a Prado.
“I never imagined that I could win something like this, but by God’s grace, I have won this,” she said.
Faustina Asante said she learnt about the MTN@30 promotion on TikTok and subsequently continued using MTN services, including Mobile Money for her business transactions and purchasing data bundles for family members.
She expressed gratitude for the prize and encouraged other MTN customers to participate in future reward programmes.
The MTN@30 promotion forms part of activities marking MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary under the theme: “30 Years of Progress, Powered by You.”
