Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo, Anthony Sumah, has committed more than GH¢104,000 in cash and medical equipment to improve primary healthcare services in four communities across the constituency.
The GH¢104,530 intervention targets the communities of Nator Duori, Dapuori, Tangasia, and Loho, following appeals from residents for support to strengthen local health facilities.
At Nator Duori, the MP donated medical equipment worth GH¢17,500 to the community’s CHPS compound. The items included an admission bed, a palpation bed, blood pressure monitors, thermometers, bathroom scales, and five streetlights to enhance healthcare delivery and improve security around the facility.
In separate presentations on behalf of the MP, Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency Chairman Sombawiera Samba, accompanied by constituency executives, handed over financial support for ongoing health infrastructure projects in three other communities.
The MP’s office released GH¢37,310 to complete the Dapuori CHPS Compound, GH¢16,730 to furnish a newly built maternity ward at the Tangasia CHPS Compound, and GH¢32,990 to support roofing works on the maternity block at the Loho CHPS Compound.
The interventions are aimed at expanding access to quality primary healthcare and accelerating the completion of critical community health infrastructure across the constituency.
