The Clerk to Parliament Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror has assured Ghanaians of a smooth and orderly transition as the 8th Parliament prepares for its dissolution on January 6, 2025, and the 9th Parliament is inaugurated the following day.

The transition, mandated under Articles 112(4) and 113(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Standing Order 51 of Parliament, is being meticulously planned by a committee established by the Speaker of Parliament in consultation with the House’s leadership.
