Kwahu Abene, the traditional seat of the Kwahu Paramount Stool, witnessed a historic moment at dawn as the Kingmakers unanimously installed Baffour Akoto Osei, a Chartered Civil Engineer and Real Estate Magnate, as the new Omanhene for the Kwahu Traditional Area.

Hailing from the Abene Etena Royal Family in Nkwatia, the newly enstooled Omanhene will now be known by his stool name, Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng III. He becomes the 20th occupant of the Esono Gyimah Ampong Agyei stool, succeeding a legacy of esteemed leadership in the Kwahu Traditional Area.

The installation ceremony was graced by the Acting President of the Kwahu Traditional Council, Nana Akyeamfuor Asiedu Agyeman III, who also serves as the Adontenhene of Kwahu and the Abetifi Hene.

Alongside other wing chiefs, Nana Akyeamfuor led the swearing of oaths of allegiance to the new Omanhene, pledging their unwavering support and commitment to serve under his leadership.

The enstoolment has sparked an outpouring of solidarity and joy, with well-wishers, sons, and daughters of Kwahu from far and near trooping to Abene to extend their blessings and support to the newly installed Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng III.

This momentous occasion marks the dawn of a new era for the Kwahu Traditional Area, as the people rally behind their new leader in anticipation of unity, development, and progress.
