The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) has officially congratulated Dr. Frank Amoakohene on his appointment as the Ashanti Regional Minister by President John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement signed by Mr. Michael Owusu Amoako, Chief Director of ARCC, the council acknowledged Dr. Amoakohene’s successful vetting and approval by the 9th Parliament of Ghana, leading to his swearing-in by the President.
Dr. Amoakohene now assumes office as the 15th Ashanti Regional Minister under the Fourth Republic. The council expressed its commitment to working with him and assured its full support in advancing the government’s agenda for the Ashanti Region.
“The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council looks forward to working with him and wishes to express its utmost support in prosecuting the agenda of the government in the Ashanti Region,” the statement read.
Dr. Amoakohene’s appointment marks a key milestone in the leadership of the region, as he takes over responsibilities for regional governance and development initiatives.
