The Bono East Regional Office of the Commission has undertaken a sensitization program with the students and staff of the Atebubu College of Education at Atebubu.
The Regional Office used the opportunity to share with the students and staff the establishment of the Commission and its key functions, the rights and obligations of consumers and utility service providers, the service connection procedure, the complaint filing procedure, as well as energy and water conservation tips.
The team also provided an in-depth, step-by-step guide to the participants on how to use the Commission’s apps, namely the PURC Tariff Reckoner and the PURC Electricity Consumption Estimator (PECE).
PURC’s informative stickers and leaflets were distributed to the audience to enable them to reach out to the Commission in case of challenges regarding electricity and water provision and related matters.
