Serbian Super liga Srbije side Radnički Niš, have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Tanko Ibrahim from Israeli Maccabi Netany in the ongoing transfer window.
Tanko is praised for his exceptional physical strength and excellent rebounding in attack and the club is pleased to have secured his signature for the fresh season.
Tanko isn’t new in the Serbian league. He already played in Serbia, he was a member of Red Star, Bežania, Mladost from Lučani, Javor.
”The 25-year-old Ghanaian winger is the new reinforcement of our club. Tanko comes to us from Israeli Maccabi Netany to whom Radnicki paid indemnity so that this strong striker could reach the Chair.
”Tanko began his career in his native Ghana, in 2017 joins the ranks of Crvena Zvezda as a great talent. He played for the youth club from Belgrade and as a loaned player in Bezanija. After that is followed by a transfer to Mladost from Lucan and Javor Matis for which he performed very successfully for three and a half years. For the club from Ivanjica, he played over 100 games and scored 13 goals and 9 assists, and the good matches did not go unnoticed, so he followed a transfer to Israel’s Maccabi, from which he arrives in Niš” the club said.
”Ibrahim Tanko is very good at the wing striker position but due to his exceptional physical strength and excellent jump he can play in the very front of the attack.
”Good matches in the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, as well as the fact that Tanko has spent almost 8 years playing in Serbia and that he does not need any adaptation, are things that were of great importance for our sports sector when bringing in this strong striker.” the club added in its statement.
