The camp of Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has dismissed reports circulating on some online portals suggesting that he has declared support for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong candidate in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.
In a statement, Yaw Poku Mensah communication aid to the NPP presidential candidate hopeful described the publications as “mischievous and malicious,” insisting they are false and aimed at misleading the public.
“We urge the public to disregard any such claims, which wickedly seek to suggest a false declaration of support for any candidate in the impending NPP primaries,” the statement read.
According to the camp, Dr. Adutwum remains actively engaged in the party’s activities with the aim of restoring the NPP’s reputation and building confidence among members as part of efforts toward securing victory in the 2028 general election.
“We remain firmly in the race, working with dignity to restore the party’s reputation and build hope among members as we work toward capturing power in the 2028 general election,” the statement added.
They further cautioned party members and the general public to treat such reports “with the contempt they deserve.”
