The management of Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has mounted a strong defense for some of its staff over allegations of payroll irregularities by the National Service Authority (NSA).
According to NSA, over 8,000 names submitted for postings, with AAMUSTED among three universities implicated.
However, AAMUSTED’s Director of Public Affairs clarified that the University submitted its final year class list as required and cooperated with the NSA’s verification process.
The University’s management has therefore
released a statement assuring stakeholders that no staff or student has been arrested in connection with the issue.
