Ernest Brogya Genfi has represented the Acting Minister for Defence, Cassiel Ato Forson, at a retreat organised by the Ghana Armed Forces at its General Headquarters.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page, the deputy minister described the engagement as insightful and commended the High Command of the Ghana Armed Forces for organising what he called a strategic forum aimed at strengthening the military.

Mr. Genfi also expressed appreciation to key security stakeholders who participated in the retreat, including the Ministry of the Interior, the National Security Secretariat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to him, the retreat provided an opportunity for security institutions to engage and reinforce cooperation in addressing national security challenges.

He said the collaboration among the various agencies would help strengthen cohesion, resilience and professionalism in efforts to safeguard Ghana’s territorial integrity.
