The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially announced its plans to conclude its nationwide campaign activities with a grand rally, dubbed the Possibility Victory Rally, ahead of the highly anticipated 2024 general elections in Accra.
The event, scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2024, will take place at the University of Ghana Sports Directorate Park, opposite the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. The programme is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
The rally will feature several distinguished personalities, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and other key figures of the party, such as Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Chairman Stephen Ayesu Ntim, and General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong.
According to a statement signed by the party’s National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, the Possibility Victory Rally is expected to draw party members, supporters, and the general public as they mark the final milestone of their campaign. The event will also be broadcast live across all major media platforms, providing nationwide access to this historic gathering.
The party has emphasized the importance of unity and determination as it heads into the elections under the theme, “With God, IT IS POSSIBLE,” inspired by Matthew 19:26.
In his statement, Henry Nana Boakye encouraged all Ghanaians to attend the rally, describing it as a defining moment in the NPP’s campaign to deliver “bold solutions for Ghana’s next chapter.”
