The national Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has expressed confidence that the party is on the verge of a historic victory in the five northern regions of Ghana.
According to Mustapha’ facebook post , Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia flagbearer of the NPP’s 16 regional tours have sparked a wave of energy that will propel the party to success in the upcoming elections.
He predicted that the NPP will win a majority of seats in the Northern Region, sweep all seats in the North East Region, and perform well in the Savannah, Upper West, and Upper East Regions.
Mustapha’s projections indicate that the NPP will win: – 12/13 seats in the Northern Region “All seats in the North East Region, or at least 5 seats – 4 seats in the Savannah Region, or at least 3 seats – 5/6 seats in the Upper West Region – 5/6 seats in the Upper East Region’’.
He concluded that the NPP is likely to win 30 seats out of 57 in the northern regions, making it the dominant party in the area for the first time.
Mustapha attributed the party’s success to its hard work and dedication, saying, “Don’t look for plaudits, look for results and the plaudits will follow”.
He urged the party members to continue working towards protecting their imminent victory in the presidential election, which he described as a “forgone conclusion, wrapped firmly in the bag.
