The Bank Hospital has formally dismissed recent allegations accusing it of violating the privacy and confidentiality of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, better known as Daddy Lumba, the renowned Ghanaian music legend who passed away at the hospital on July 26, 2025.
In an official statement, the hospital expressed condolences to the nation and the extended family of the iconic singer, describing the loss as deeply mourned by the entire country.

The statement was issued amid circulating false claims, including those made by media personality Ms. Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, widely known as Afia Schwarzenegger, alleging that the hospital breached the confidentiality of Daddy Lumba’s medical information.
Addressing these accusations directly, The Bank Hospital categorically denied any such violations.
The facility emphasized that the late artist’s care was conducted with the utmost professionalism, dignity, and adherence to strict confidentiality protocols.
