The Ashanti regional branch of new Christian association, Father’s Court, has been established to train and support evangelists and strengthen nationwide prayers for peace, leaders of the group have announced.
According to Apostle Albert Twum Berimah, the Public Relations Officer of Father’s Court, the group was formed by senior men of God including Bishops, Reverends, and Apostles who identified the need to provide proper training and guidance for evangelists, particularly those working on the streets.
“We realized that many evangelists out there lack education and support. Some are not in ministry for the right reasons and treat it as a business,” Apostle Berimah said.
“Our mission is to train up-and-coming evangelists mentally, spiritually, and educationally so they can deliver the true message of Christ with clarity.”
He explained that the group’s second major focus is interceding for Ghana through prayers. Father Court regularly organizes retreats to pray for peace and stability in the country, drawing inspiration from the biblical instruction given to Israel through the prophet Jeremiah to seek the peace of the nation in which they live.
Though founded in Kumasi, Father Court has a national presence, with structures in all 16 regions.
The association is led by Dr. Kobe, who serves as the national president.
Branches have been established nationwide to ensure evangelists receive the necessary guidance and that collective prayers for Ghana are sustained.
“Father Court is both a national and international body,” Apostle Berimah added. “We exist to strengthen evangelists on the streets and to intercede for the peace of our nation.”
