The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced its 2026 enlistment exercise for prospective commissioned officers.
According to a press release issued by the Department of Public Relations at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, the official advertisement for the exercise was published in the Ghanaian Times on Monday, August 31, and the Daily Graphic on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
The GAF said vouchers for the online application would be available from Thursday, September 3, 2026, at a cost of GH¢200 at designated Ghana Post offices nationwide.
The online application portal is scheduled to be activated on Friday, September 4, 2026, with applicants required to visit apply.mil.gh to access and complete the application process.
The deadline for submitting completed applications is Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The Armed Forces has urged prospective applicants to obtain information about the recruitment exercise only through its official social media platforms or by contacting 0256 405 104 or WhatsApp 0256 405 154.
The public has also been encouraged to use the same contact numbers to report suspected fraudulent activities connected to the enlistment exercise.
The GAF cautioned applicants against dealing with individuals who claim to be agents, middlemen or representatives of the Armed Forces.
It stressed that it does not engage the services of middlemen or agents, and does not charge any additional fees beyond the official application requirements.
The Armed Forces therefore advised members of the public not to make payments to individuals promising to facilitate their recruitment into the service.
The statement was signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin (Ghana Navy), Acting Director General of Public Relations.
The GAF urged applicants to follow the official application procedures and rely only on information from authorised sources throughout the recruitment process.
