Brogya Genfi, Deputy Director overseeing Special Duties for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has revealed that the upcoming NDC administration aims to enlist over 25,000 young individuals into various security services.
He emphasized that the forthcoming NDC government is fully prepared and dedicated to eradicating youth unemployment once and for all.
Mr. Genfi stated that when the NDC assumes power, it will instill hope in numerous Ghanaian youths suffering from joblessness due to the irresponsible actions of the NPP by integrating them into security services.
This declaration was made during a community gathering at Kyekyewere in the Fomena constituency of the Ashanti Region, which forms part of the second phase of the NDC’s General Chairman Campaign Tour in the region.
The deputy director highlighted that the youth-oriented policies outlined in the NDC Youth Manifesto aim to combat unemployment among the youth while fostering economic advancement.
“The upcoming NDC government, led by President Mahama, will prioritize the generation of employment opportunities, with a particular focus on the youth, through initiatives and strategies designed to stimulate economic progress,” he affirmed.
He mentioned that the enforcement of the 24-Hour Economy Policy will generate job prospects for young individuals struggling to secure a sustainable income for a decent livelihood.
Additionally, he discussed the Youth Apprenticeship Programme (YAP), which aims to aid young individuals interested in acquiring vocational skills by covering the costs of their training.
He urged the populace to make informed decisions by ensuring that the wasteful NPP is ousted.
