At least seven people are feared dead, while several others have sustained injuries following a fatal road accident involving an Accra-bound VVIP bus and a Toyota Sienna at Saka, a suburb of Zebilla in the Bawku West District.
The crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, 13th June 2026, according to reports.

Emergency responders, alongside residents in the area, rushed to the scene to assist victims and provide immediate support following the collision.
The injured victims have since been transported to the Zebilla Government Hospital for medical attention, while authorities have commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
