The Ghana Police Service has arrested two additional suspects in connection with the violent disturbances that erupted during the football match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC.
The suspects, identified as Isaac Ofosu and Yeboah Augustine, are currently in police custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation.
This latest development brings the total number of arrests to five since the incident, which took place on February 2, 2025, at Nsoatre in the Bono Region.
According to police sources, intelligence-led operations are still underway to apprehend other perpetrators involved in the violence. Authorities have assured the public of their commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining law and order.
