Diahi Dalot has marked a significant milestone in his career by reaching 150 Premier League appearances for Manchester United during Sunday’s crucial victory over Crystal Palace.
The Portuguese fullback played a pivotal role in the match, completing the full 90 minutes as a left wing-back.
Dalot’s composure and skill helped Manchester United overturn a deficit at Selhurst Park, securing a vital three points in the Premier League race.
He notably won key free-kicks that led to goals by Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount, both assisted by Bruno Fernandes.
Reflecting on his achievement, Dalot expressed pride and gratitude for his journey since joining the Red Devils as a teenager from FC Porto in 2018.
“Reaching 150 appearances is a source of pride for playing at the highest level for so many years,” he said.
The 26-year-old added, “I’m very happy to reach this beautiful milestone in the biggest league in the world. My journey has been one of constant growth as both a man and a player. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved, knowing that I’m only 26 and still have so much more to accomplish in my career. I’m enjoying every moment.”
Dalot is now the 41st player to reach this benchmark for Manchester United in the Premier League era, joining club legends and current teammates such as Luke Shaw, who celebrated his 300th game for the club on the same day, alongside Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire.
Among Portuguese players, Dalot and Fernandes are part of a distinguished group of 13 who have made 150 or more appearances in the Premier League.
This exclusive list is topped by Luis Boa Morte, who made 296 appearances in the division.
